Description
Several years ago, “help me, I’ve fallen and can’t get up” was an expression used as a marketing tool by an emergency response system company to demonstrate the vulnerability of elders during falls and other health emergencies. It has, to some generations, become a symbol of this vulnerability and the importance of maintaining constant vigilance for the well being of long-term care residents. This care includes not only the elderly, but also the physically as well as mentally disabled.
