Despite significant progress in treatment, prevention, and education, these diseases continue to affect millions of people each year and are especially concerning in healthcare and long-term care settings. This course aims to equip healthcare workers, caregivers, and support staff with the essential knowledge to understand how these infections are transmitted, their effects on the body, and how to prevent and manage them safely and compassionately.
